During his visit, the candidate expressed the importance of returning to his origins to recover the "essence" that, according to him, is lost with responsibilities and constant travel. He highlighted that this place brings him "physical and mental well-being" and that it is essential "to know where one comes from to know where one wants to go".
The day was marked by the affection of family and acquaintances, who greeted him with expressions of support. The walking tour included an impromptu breakfast with typical sweets from the region at the entrance of a local bar, where the candidate recalled moments from his childhood.
“"I would never have become the president of the Junta de Andalucía that I am if I had not had experiences in this very special, unique, and important town in the province of Málaga, Alhaurín el Grande."
The candidate took the opportunity to ask for votes from the town's inhabitants, whom he considers key to achieving an absolute majority in the upcoming elections. He emphasized that Málaga is one of the decisive provinces for achieving a "strong" government that defends the interests of Andalucía.
In terms of campaign proposals, the acting president announced a Special Plan for Unwanted Loneliness aimed at older people, which would be implemented in the next legislature if he is re-elected. This plan would include social support measures, promotion of volunteering, and the use of technology.
Finally, the candidate criticized an opposition party spokesperson for social media statements that, in his opinion, questioned the "work and commitment" of Andalusians. He also expressed concern about the central government's negotiations with independentist parties after the Andalusian elections.
