The Chiclana City Council has published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) the call for the provision, through a merit-based competition procedure, of two lawyer positions. These positions belong to the Special Administration scale, Technical Sub-scale and Higher Technical Category, and are vacant in the City Council's Staffing Plan.
The Delegate for Personnel, José Vera, stated that "we have approved the call for the selection of two lawyers for the City Council, which demonstrates our commitment to public employment creation in the municipality." Interested individuals can submit their applications through the Virtual Window until August 17. The application form can be downloaded from the electronic headquarters.
José Vera encouraged those interested to submit their applications through the City Council's Registry to participate in the selection process, which will take place in the coming months. He emphasized that "we continue to work to increase the municipal staff and provide better service to citizens."
The duties of the position include the representation and defense in court of the Chiclana City Council before various jurisdictions (administrative-judicial, social, civil, and criminal), resolving queries from different departments, issuing reports, and providing legal advice.
Aspiring candidates must meet the following requirements: be a permanent civil servant of group A, sub-group A1, from any public administration, with a minimum of three years in such a condition, be in active service, hold a Degree or Law Licentiate qualification, possess the functional capacity for the tasks, and not be subject to disciplinary separation from state, autonomous community, or local entity service, nor be disqualified from holding public office.
