The summer selection of Guía Repsol's Soletes in Huelva featured the expert eye of designer Modesto Lomba, president of the Association of Spanish Fashion Creators (ACME). Lomba, who has strong summer ties to Ayamonte, chose two venues that embody the province's culinary pleasures during the summer season: artisanal confectionery and seafood cuisine.
Among his recommendations is Chocolatería No Ni Ná, located near the market in Ayamonte. This establishment, run by Patricia Martín, is renowned for its chocolates and ice creams made with natural fruits, particularly its artisanal bonbons. The shop has earned a loyal clientele with its sweet offerings, perfect for summer strolls through the town center.
“"all the flavor of Andalusia"
Lomba's second choice is Bar Freiduría Rocío, a venue that, according to the designer, concentrates "all the flavor of Andalusia." Its gastronomic offering focuses on seafood from the Andalusian coasts, with fish, shellfish, and traditional fried dishes as highlights. The menu also includes meat options, reflecting the culinary identity of a municipality deeply connected to the sea.
These two establishments join the six existing Soletes in Ayamonte, reinforcing the city's image as a gastronomic destination. Through these distinctions, the Guía Repsol aims to recognize venues with unique personalities, rooted in their territory, and offering authentic experiences that value the product and tradition making summer in Huelva unique.
