The main objective of this program is to foster knowledge of bullfighting among the younger generation, presenting it as a tradition deeply rooted in the region's culture and customs. The initiative aims to offer a first contact with the world of bulls in an educational and playful manner.
Almudena Morales, vice-president of the Provincial Council of Almería, highlighted the institution's support for this activity, considering it an essential part of culture and traditions, especially in municipalities with a strong bullfighting following. She congratulated the Almería Bullfighting School for its educational work and for keeping this tradition alive.
Ruiz Manuel, director of the Almería Bullfighting School, emphasized the importance of the Council's support and the positive reception from children and young people. He described the workshops as a recreational activity where participants learn to handle capes and muletas, enjoying local traditions.
The workshops will be held in the following municipalities and dates: 08/08/2026 in Abrúcena, 04/09/2026 in Gádor, 06/09/2026 in Alcolea, 19/09/2026 in Lucainena de las Torres, 20/09/2026 in Laujar de Andarax, 26/09/2026 in Vera, 10/10/2026 in Macael, and 18/10/2026 in Huércal Overa.
