The nautical entity from Chipiona demonstrated its strength in the regional competition, where Luis Alfonso Pérez Nogués claimed the overall victory. Rafael Ruiz Díez secured second place, while Alfonso Merello Terry and José Vicente Climent Gordillo tied on points to complete the podium.
Ángel Miranda was the most outstanding sailor from Chipiona, finishing in a commendable fifth position in the absolute standings with 14 net points. Aboard the 'Ajelito', he completed the four scheduled races, with partial results of 5th, 4th, and 5th, along with a retired result according to the competition's scoring system.
Manuel Caro Casado also excelled, finishing eighth overall and second in the A2 category with 'La Perla Negra', accumulating 23 net points. The win in this category went to Raúl Carrera Díaz, seventh in the overall classification.
The club's representation was completed by Carlos Manuel Sanz Herrera, eleventh overall with the 'Atyla Negro', and Ramón Domingo Crespo, twelfth with the 'Marajima'. Sanz Herrera also placed second in the B category, won by Javier Cuesta Mariscal, tenth overall.
The competition, organized by the El Trocadero Nautical Club, was marked by demanding wind conditions. On Saturday, the easterly wind reached averages close to 20 knots, with gusts exceeding 28, making navigation difficult. On Sunday, the wind moderated to an average of around 15 knots, allowing the planned program to be completed.
