The call for applications, published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) this Wednesday, aims to strengthen the municipal workforce. The majority of these job opportunities, specifically 39, correspond to the Special Administration scale within the Local Police force. These will be filled through a free-access competitive examination system.
Additionally, the City Council has allocated another eight positions for the Local Police, which will be awarded through a merit-based competition for mobility transfers. This measure complements the main offer, seeking to attract qualified personnel already in service.
Beyond the security sector, the Córdoba City Council's public employment offer also includes two positions for Archive Technician. These roles, part of the Technical sub-scale and Middle class, will be filled through a free-access competitive examination process, thus expanding opportunities in other administrative areas.
Interested candidates for any of these positions have a period of 20 working days to submit their applications. This period will begin the day after the resolutions are published in the BOE. The detailed rules governing these calls were previously published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba and that of the Junta de Andalucía during the summer of 2025.
