The production, a major film by Suma Content Films inspired by the unfinished work of Federico García Lorca, premieres this September 25th in cinemas. The news follows its win for Best Direction at the Cannes Film Festival.
On July 18, 2025, the town of Ogíjares hosted the casting call for extras for the film, directed by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, known as Los Javis. Numerous residents, aged between 6 and 90, participated in the filming and will soon be seen on the big screen.
