As part of Operation Alfa-Eridani, Civil Guard officers have arrested a 42-year-old individual in the town of Otura, dismantling a center for the production and sale of narcotic substances that operated from several apartments in the same residential building.
The operation began after signs of a possible marijuana cultivation were observed during a prior police intervention. Subsequent investigations, carried out by the Investigation area of the Civil Guard of Armilla, confirmed the existence of the cultivation and sales point, as well as the involvement of one of the building's residents.
During the judicial search of three apartments used by the detainee, one as his main residence and the other two allegedly for illicit purposes, officers found 3,875 grams of dried marijuana buds, 1,300 grams of hashish in blocks and pellets, 11.3 grams of cocaine, a precision scale, and 1,885 euros in cash.
Furthermore, in one of the apartments, elements for a possible indoor marijuana cultivation had begun to be installed. The detainee has been handed over to the Duty Court of Santa Fe for an alleged crime against public health, specifically drug trafficking, and was released on bail with charges.
