The competition, organized by the Tourism Department, primarily aims to promote and publicize Alfacar and its bread, recognizing it as an essential element in gastronomy, culture, and daily life. It seeks to foster artistic creativity and preserve the municipality's historical memory.
Photographers, both professional and amateur, are invited to submit images that explore the world of bread from a personal and creative perspective. Suggested themes include artisanal production, the work of bakers, ingredients, ovens, traditional breads, associated trades, bread in daily life, as well as its shapes, textures, and details.
The contest is open to all interested individuals, provided the photographs are original and have not won previous awards. Each participant can submit a maximum of three photographs in JPG/JPEG digital format. The deadline for submission is October 14.
To enter, participants must complete the registration form (Annex I) and send the documentation along with the photographs to the email address panconartealfacar@gmail.com. The Alfacar City Council will send a confirmation email upon receipt of the application.
The contest offers three prizes: €400 for the first place, €200 for the second, and €100 for the third. A qualified jury will evaluate the submitted entries.
