The sporting event, sponsored by Grupo Infrico and organized by Hermes Gym, will start and finish at Plaza Nueva. The five-kilometer urban route will pass through the town's historic center.
The event, with a limit of 550 participants, aims to offer a festive experience for all audiences, featuring a batucada, music, a DJ, and a speaker along the course, as well as a post-race party and trophy ceremony.
This race is part of a weekend dedicated to promoting local tourism and commerce, coinciding with World Tourism Day on September 27th. The program will kick off on Friday the 25th with the Pasarela Eliossana and continue on Saturday with animation activities and commercial offers.
Registrations remain open until September 20th through the Deportime platform, with a fee of 12.50 euros which includes a runner's bag and a commemorative t-shirt. The Lucena City Council and Hermes Gym encourage citizens to participate in this inaugural edition.
