The meeting, held periodically, served to analyze the municipality's security situation and gain firsthand knowledge of the force's actions, aiming to improve citizen services and address their demands.
Discussions included reinforcing surveillance due to recent home burglaries, updates on the construction of the new barracks currently out for tender, and preparations for the events celebrating October 12th, the feast day of the Civil Guard's patron saint, El Pilar.
According to the mayor, the collaboration and coordination between the City Council and the Civil Guard are "maximum," with both institutions committed to working together on citizen security.
