The festivities in honor of Ntra Sra de la Granada, Patron Saint of the Town of Guillena, began on August 28th with the Pregón (opening speech) and will continue until September 8th, the day the Patron Saint will make her double processional exit. These events and religious services are organized by the Brotherhood of Ntra Sra de la Granada.
In parallel, the City Council has scheduled pre-fair activities from September 2nd to 7th. The Guillena fair will take place from September 8th to 13th, offering various events for attendees.
As part of the program, the Department of Major Festivals has organized the traditional Fair concert. The 'Villa de Guillena' Music Band will perform on Saturday, September 5th, at 10:30 PM, in the Plaza de España.
This musical ensemble, which accompanies the Virgen de la Granada during her processions, was also present at the parish last Friday, August 28th, during the Pregón to the Patron Saint, delivered by Luis Cristóbal Quiles Puntas.
