The Provincial Council of Jaén is carrying out a comprehensive action on the JA-3107 road, which connects the towns of Torres and Albanchez de Mágina. The investment amounts to 486,000 euros, and the works, covering the road's 7.5 kilometers, are already 65% complete.
The tasks include reinforcing the road surface by laying a new asphalt layer, replacing existing vertical signage, and completely renewing the horizontal signage. Public access points are also being conditioned.
The Deputy for Municipal Infrastructure, José Luis Agea, visited the works accompanied by the mayor of Albanchez de Mágina, Diego Fernández, and the deputy mayor of Torres, Juan José Anguita. Agea emphasized that the action aims to improve safety and communications in the area.
This intervention is part of a broader plan for the Provincial Council's Road Network. According to the deputy, a total investment of 65 million euros is planned, combining 25 million from the 2026 provincial budget with an additional 40 million from the Spanish Government's funding for storm damage.
