The Vera Town Council has revealed the poster for the mixed bullfight that will be part of the upcoming Patron Saint Festivities in honor of the Virgen de las Angustias, underscoring the municipal commitment to bullfighting tradition.

The official presentation took place at the Hotel-Restaurant Terraza Carmona, gathering numerous enthusiasts and local bullfighting personalities. Attendees included Ginés Carmona, Ruiz Manuel (bullfighting advisor to the council), Antonio Soler (Culture Councilor), and the mayor of Vera, Alfonso García, all of whom emphasized the event's significance in the town's calendar.

"This poster responds to the objective of offering a spectacle of great interest, betting on consolidated figures and emerging talents that guarantee the event's appeal and reinforce Vera's projection as a bullfighting reference."

Ruiz Manuel · Bullfighting Advisor to the Council
The main event will be a mixed bullfight, featuring cattle from the prestigious Andalusian ranch of Julio de la Puerta, returning to Vera after previous successes. The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 31st, at 6:00 PM in the Plaza de Toros de Vera, with popular ticket prices.
The lineup will include David de Miranda, considered one of last season's revelations and now established in major national fairs. He will be joined by Víctor Hernández, a rising bullfighter already featured in important first-category bullrings. The promising novillera Olga Casado, with a notable career and recent international campaign, completes the roster, generating great anticipation.

"Following the success of previous events, we continue to work with a firm commitment to promote and defend the national fiesta, opting for the celebration of two annual events. We trust that fans and the social and business fabric will once again fill our Bullring and help keep this tradition alive."

Alfonso García Ramos · Mayor of Vera
