The Jerez City Council and the Pasarela Flamenca organization have met to plan the next edition of the event, which will celebrate its twentieth anniversary from February 4 to 7, 2027.

The mayor of Jerez, María José García-Pelayo, along with the delegate for Tourism, Antonio Real, met with the director of the Pasarela Flamenca de Jerez, Ana Belén Morillo, to define the XX edition of the event. The aim is to enhance co-organization to include more designers, stands, and parallel activities, drawing inspiration from successful models in the flamenco fashion sector.
The mayor highlighted the importance of flamenco fashion for the economy of Jerez and committed to facilitating municipal cooperation. The City Council reaffirms its support for culture, the textile industry, designers' talent, and the development of the city's tourism.
The organization proposed holding the official presentation ceremony in an emblematic and monumental setting in Jerez, which will host fashion shows and special communication activities to commemorate the anniversary.
The consolidation of the ‘Innova’ competition was analyzed, which strengthens support for emerging talents and designers in flamenco fashion in collaboration with the City Council.
The XIX edition, held in 2026, attracted 16,000 attendees and sold over 9,200 tickets for the fashion shows. It featured 47 stands and around 60 designers, generating an estimated economic impact of 1.2 million euros.
The event acts as a powerful driver for local tourism and hospitality, recording over 3,000 external visits and approximately 1,360 overnight stays in 2026. Notably, 90% of surveyed visitors identified the Pasarela Flamenca as the primary reason for their trip to Jerez. Digitally, the event's reach grew significantly, exceeding 3.7 million views on Instagram and 520,000 on Facebook during the last edition.
