The city of Seville has hosted a new edition of 'Sí, Mantilla', an event that has brought the traditional black mantilla back into the spotlight, gathering numerous designers in the Andalusian capital.

Last Thursday, March 27, 2026, the black mantilla once again took center stage in Seville thanks to the celebration of 'Sí, Mantilla'. This initiative, which seeks to enhance the cultural and aesthetic value of this iconic garment, has established itself as an essential event in the local fashion calendar.
The event was organized by ESSDM and the Flamentex International Flamenco Fashion Chair, entities that joined forces to offer a platform for new talents. In this edition, a total of 64 designers had the opportunity to showcase their creations, contributing to the revitalization and modernization of the mantilla.
This event adds to other recent activities in Seville related to the sector, such as the 2026 edition of Premier Lunar, a day dedicated to entrepreneurship and young talent, held on March 20, 2026. Furthermore, it has been announced that Victorio & Lucchino will kick off the inaugural night of an upcoming event, according to information from March 11, 2025.
