Don Omar delivered a historic concert this Friday during the second day of the Puro Latino El Puerto de Santa María Fest 2026. The iconic artist, crowned the "King of Reggaeton", headlined the event, bringing together thousands of people at the Las Banderas Fairgrounds in the Cádiz locality.
During his performance, major hits like «Danza Kuduro», «Taboo», and «Hasta Abajo», included in his album «Meet The Orphans», filled the air. These songs, which defined a generation, continue to resonate strongly with his fans.
The day also featured other successful artists in Latin music and rhythmic styles, such as Saiko.
The festival will conclude this Saturday with a lineup headed by Anuel AA, accompanied by Cali & El Dandee, Ñengo Flow, JC Reyes, Hades66, and Juan Magan. Anuel AA's performance is expected in the early hours of Sunday, at 4:15 AM.
Don Omar's path to stardom began in 2003 with the release of his debut album, «The Last Don», which propelled him to global fame. His 2006 album «King of Kings» broke records, debuting at number one on Billboard's Latin charts. With numerous multi-platinum albums and billions of streams, Don Omar remains a significant figure in the music scene.
Beyond his music career, Don Omar is also recognized for his recurring role as Rico Santos in the successful «Fast & Furious» franchise, appearing in five films. His songs have also been featured on the soundtracks of this popular film series.
