The Manuel Delgado Perea House of Culture in Fuengirola will host a special film cycle dedicated to ocean conservation, with free admission, during September and October.

The Fuengirola City Council and the Bioparc Foundation have organized a special film cycle focused on ocean conservation. The initiative, to be held at the Manuel Delgado Perea House of Culture, will allow attendees to enjoy four award-winning films from the Wild Oceans FilmFest (WOFF), an international marine film festival.
The cycle will begin on Tuesday, September 15, at 8:00 PM, with the screening of the documentary Soul of the Ocean. This production showcases underwater diversity and the relationships between marine species.
The second session will take place on September 22 with Ocean with David Attenborough, a National Geographic production featuring the renowned British naturalist David Attenborough. The film explores the planet's oceans, highlighting their richness and the need for their protection.
Two more screenings, also recognized in previous editions of the Wild Oceans FilmFest, will be announced during October. All films will be shown in their original English version with Spanish subtitles, and admission will be free on a first-come, first-served basis.
This initiative is part of the collaboration between the Fuengirola City Council and the Bioparc Foundation, aiming to promote public awareness and education on the importance of marine ecosystems. The Bioparc Foundation carries out its work through the Bioparc parks in Valencia and Fuengirola, and the Gijón Aquarium.
The special cycle in Fuengirola joins the fifth edition of the Wild Oceans FilmFest, which will be held at the Bioparc Acuario de Gijón from November 2 to 7. The goal is to bring the public closer to oceanic biodiversity and the challenges it faces.
