The Great Chestnut Festival of Vícar will hold a new edition on Saturday, November 7th, making music and community gathering the protagonists of this anticipated autumn event. The Vícar City Council has highlighted it as one of the most requested events in its cultural programming, bringing together families, young people, and seniors in a day with a "welcoming and magical" atmosphere, according to Mayor Antonio Bonilla.
The esplanade next to the Vícar City Council's administrative building will be the venue for this event, which will begin at five in the afternoon with the family theater play Esencial, by Vaivén Circo. This performance merges dance and circus to offer "a kind of changing architecture" where five characters embark on an adventurous journey.
Starting at eight in the evening, as the sun sets, the distribution of chestnuts will commence along with the 90s Party. The musical lineup features renowned artists such as Viceversa, Ku Minerva, Selena Leo, and La Banda del Capitán Inhumano, as well as local DJs Dj Forni and Dj Mara. The celebration promises fun and nostalgia with hit songs from pop, dance, and techno.
