The initiative, driven by the CAAC based in Seville and the C3A in Córdoba, includes the creation of photographs from environmental facilities managed by ARCGISA. These images will integrate the Campo de Gibraltar region into a contemporary creation proposal examining landscape transformations and the interactions between human activity and ecosystems.
'Las Nubes Americanas' is presented as an experimental cinematic essay combining environmental reflection and poetic sensibility. The work takes as its starting point the presence of white storks in various Andalusian environmental facilities, inviting reflection on the effects of current production and consumption models on natural cycles and species behavior.
ARCGISA's participation aims to incorporate the region's environmental reality into this artistic production, fostering collaboration between environmental management entities and cultural promotion organizations. The initiative highlights art's potential to offer new perspectives on the environment and encourage collective reflection on current ecological challenges.
Furthermore, the collaboration brings ARCGISA's environmental management work to new audiences through a cultural proposal connecting local reality with global issues. The work is currently in production and is scheduled for presentation at the C3A in Córdoba in 2027.
