Málaga CF plays its final home game of the season this Sunday at La Rosaleda stadium, the first leg of the promotion playoff to Spain's top football division against UD Almería. The match has been classified as High Risk by authorities, who are calling for passion and harmony among supporters.
The home team's fans have organized a reception, expected to be one of the largest of the year, to support their team. The gathering is scheduled for 7:00 PM at the Tribuna straight, on Avenida de La Palmilla, over an hour before LaLiga's scheduled kickoff at 9:00 PM.
The National Police will implement an "extensive security operation" with over a hundred officers to ensure safety before, during, and after the match. The operation will include specialized units such as the UIP and the Information Brigade, with particular attention to fan gathering areas and the movement of visiting supporters. The aim is to ensure that both Almería and Málaga fans can enjoy the match peacefully and without incident.
