The Malaga-based team had the opportunity to discover some of the town's main tourist attractions. The vice-president of the Nerja Cave Foundation, José Alberto Armijo, welcomed the team at the cave, highlighting the collaboration between the Foundation and the club. The Nerja Cave logo will once again be featured on the team's training jerseys for another season.
Subsequently, Armijo, in his capacity as mayor, accompanied the members of Unicaja Baloncesto on their visit to the Balcón de Europa. Councilwomen Ángela Díaz, Ana María Muñoz, and Antonia Martín were also present during the tour.
“"We are delighted to welcome Unicaja Baloncesto back to Nerja. It is a satisfaction that a leading club in Malaga sports visits the Balcón de Europa and our Cave."
Finally, Armijo conveyed to the president of Unicaja Baloncesto, Antonio Jesús López Nieto, the coach, Txus Vidorreta, and the players his best wishes for the new season, trusting that the Malaga team will continue to achieve sporting success and carry the name of Malaga and the Nerja Cave throughout Spain and Europe.
