Season tickets for Málaga CF in the upcoming 2026/27 season will be more expensive than in the previous campaign, although the club assures that the increase will be proportionate and not excessive. This revenue stream is significant, but its overall budget impact has decreased proportionally due to increased income from the television contract.
Kike Pérez, the club's general director, indicated that more details will be released next week, possibly on Thursday the 2nd, with sales beginning on the 3rd. "Prices will go up, but it will be less than what was paid years ago in La Liga. We have to raise them, but we are adjusting that number," stated Pérez. For reference, prices during the last season in the top flight (2017/18) ranged from 120 to 750 euros for renewals, and between 150 and 850 euros for new season ticket holders.
Pérez also confirmed that the number of season ticket holders will be capped at 26,550, with recommendations to potentially reduce this number to increase rotation and ticketing revenue. "We cannot increase the number further. LaLiga is asking all clubs to reduce," he explained, mentioning that Germany sets a 70% cap.
The season ticket will include all league matches, with no 'club days' for games against teams like Barça or Madrid. The Copa del Rey will be assessed based on the rounds. La Rosaleda has been divided into more sections, with price increases for each. It is anticipated that the majority of the 26,550 season ticket holders will renew, and measures may be introduced to penalize those who do not attend and do not transfer their ticket for future seasons, aiming to fill the stadium.
