The player from Cádiz made his first minutes of the second half of the championship, leaving behind complicated months due to a muscular injury that prevented him from performing at his best.
Alcedo played the final five minutes of the match against Albacete. Despite the short time, his return meant much more than mere participation. "It hasn't been easy, but I'm back. Friday was a day of mixed feelings, sad about the home defeat but happy to be back on the pitch after so long," he shared on his social media profiles.

The season has been full of setbacks for Alcedo. He started as a substitute, but a collarbone injury in matchday 4 forced him to undergo surgery and kept him away from the field for over two months. Just as he was regaining rhythm, a new and serious muscle tear caused him to miss 18 matches and four months of competition.
This half-season lost has affected the player's morale, as he is aware that his future, barring a major surprise, will be away from Córdoba CF. His contract ends on June 30th and will not be renewed. At 25 years old, Alcedo aims to make the most of the remaining two league matches to regain his form and finish the most difficult season of his professional career on a satisfactory note.
