The National Championship of the National Futsal Committee (CNFS), held in the province of Jaén from June 12 to 14, has crowned two teams from Almería as Spanish champions. Playas de Garrucha FS took the title in the Senior men's category, while CD Villa de Fines achieved the same in the Senior women's category.
The competition featured significant representation from the province of Almería. In the women's category, three provincial teams (CD Villa de Fines, CD Comarca de Níjar, and AD Alhama) advanced from the group stage as leaders. The semifinals saw an all-Almería provincial clash between AD Alhama and CD Comarca de Níjar, with the latter winning 4-2. In the other semifinal, CD Villa de Fines defeated Cazalilla FSF 2-0, securing an all-Almería final.
The women's final pitted CD Villa de Fines against CD Comarca de Níjar. The Fines team delivered an outstanding performance, winning 5-2 to become the national Senior women's champions.
In the men's category, Playas de Garrucha FS, after a strong group stage, overcame Tipsa from Badajoz in the semifinals with a score of 6-4. In the final, they faced CDC Unión de Tudela (Valladolid), securing a 3-1 victory to claim the Spanish Senior men's championship title.
These victories highlight the excellent current state of AAFS futsal in Almería, reinforcing the hard work done by the province's clubs and their presence at the national elite level.
