The work, carried out by municipal workers during the summer period, included interior and exterior painting, inspection of electrical and lighting systems, as well as plumbing, glazing, and carpentry repairs. Additionally, recreational and garden areas have been conditioned, responding to requests from management teams and Parent-Teacher Associations (AMPAS).
These actions are part of the Council's annual planning to ensure that early childhood and primary education facilities are in the best condition. The municipal investment exclusively for the maintenance, conservation, and cleaning of the educational centers in the municipality exceeds 700,000 euros annually.
“"All these works that have been executed aim for our children and teachers to start the school year in the best conditions, as they deserve."
Mayor Domingo Fernández highlighted the council's commitment to the educational community, emphasizing that although maintenance is a municipal responsibility, efforts are made to address all conveyed needs. Furthermore, an extraordinary reinforcement in deep cleaning of classrooms has been carried out to ensure optimal sanitary conditions for the return of schoolchildren.
