The provincial administration will allocate 880,000 euros to the intervention on the JA-4108, a project funded by the Provincial Road Infrastructure Plan 2026. The Deputy of Municipal Infrastructures, José Luis Agea, presented the project, accompanied by the mayor of Lupión, Gonzalo Rus.
The works will cover the 5.5 kilometers of the road, including reinforcing the surface, installing new signage, and adding reflectors to enhance safety, particularly during night driving.
José Luis Agea emphasized that these actions demonstrate the "absolute commitment" of the Jaén Provincial Council to improving safety and communications within the province. He highlighted the importance of keeping towns and rural areas well-connected, benefiting sectors such as agriculture.
