From May 1st to 3rd, Torrox will transform into a showcase of the province's culinary richness, gathering 34 producers from 17 municipalities. This initiative is consolidating as one of the most important gastronomic events of the season on the Costa del Sol, attracting both residents and visitors.
Attendees will be able to enjoy a wide range of products including extra virgin olive oils, wines with designation of origin, goat cheeses, cured meats, artisan sweets, honey, beers, and liqueurs, as well as organic products. The space is designed for tasting, direct sales, and the promotion of the Málaga agri-food sector.
Beyond the product exhibition, the fair has scheduled twenty activities for all audiences. These include the Popi Ham Slicers Solidarity Contest, with charitable purposes, a toast by the sea with Málaga wines, showcooking sessions, gastronomic workshops, specialized tastings, and live musical performances.
The program will begin on Friday with the opening of the venue and the ham slicers contest. Saturday will continue with proposals such as a high-gastronomy showcooking and olive oil tastings. Sunday, coinciding with Mother's Day, will be dedicated to a more family-friendly atmosphere with children's workshops and special activities, expecting a large public turnout throughout the weekend.
