During a visit to the Baeza market, Alba Sánchez, Vox's number two candidate for Jaén, alongside lead candidate Benito Morillo, highlighted that the upcoming Andalusian Parliament elections are crucial in determining whether the province "continues to be last for bipartisanship or begins to be a priority for institutions".
In statements to the media, the party explained that the concept of "national priority" is a "central axis" of its political program. This principle implies that, given limited resources, they should first be allocated to local citizens.
“"First, the young person from Jaén who cannot access housing; first, the elderly person waiting for dependency care; first, the family that pays taxes and cannot make ends meet; first, those who have worked, contributed, and built this land."
The candidate also criticized bipartisanship for "normalizing that Spaniards pay, wait, and are last". In this context, she reproached one political leader for "opening the door to mass regularizations" and another for "having finished dismantling" the Andalusian healthcare system.
According to the party, Jaén does not need "more queues or more promises" but "national priority," which they consider "order, justice, and common sense." They added that their party's agreements with the Popular Party in Aragon and Extremadura demonstrate that, when Vox has strength, these principles are upheld.
