The city of Jaén was filled with joy and hope this Easter Sunday with the traditional processional outing of the Brotherhood of the Risen Lord and Our Lady of Victory, marking the close of the local Holy Week.

From the Minor Basilica of San Ildefonso, the brotherhood, founded in 1987, began its journey at 10:00 AM, gathering numerous faithful and visitors. This procession is one of the most anticipated moments, symbolizing the proclamation of the Resurrection and the victory of life.
The image of the Risen Lord, a creation by Rafael Rubio Vernia, paraded through the streets of Jaén, accompanied by the sounds of the “La Estrella” Musical Group. Following it, Our Lady of Victory, a work by Alfredo Muñoz Arcos, added a touch of emotion, with musical accompaniment from the “Santa Cecilia” Band of Arjonilla.
The brotherhood's nazarenos, dressed in white tunics with golden details, reflected the purity and glory of this significant day. The procession, which concluded its return at 2:30 PM, transformed the city into a scene of celebration, bringing an intense week of faith and tradition to a golden close.
