The Primera FEB, one of Europe's most captivating competitions, has unveiled its calendar for the 2026/27 season. The league will feature 34 rounds and over 300 matches to determine direct promotion to the Liga Endesa and the spot for the Final Four.
Covirán Granada, after four seasons in the elite, returns to the second division and will debut before their home crowd on Saturday, September 26. The regular season finale for the Granada team will be on May 7 on the court of Ourense.
The asymmetric schedule presents an opening round full of excitement. Following the home debut, the team managed by Arturo Ruiz will have their first away game in the second round in October against Oviedo. The third matchday will see them host Tizona Burgos, and the fourth will take them to visit Caja Rural Zamora.
The Andalusian derbies of the first half of the season are scheduled for the fifth round, with a match in Seville against Caja 87 on October 23, and in round 13, on December 27, they will host Córdoba CB at the Palacio, thus concluding 2026.
The start of 2027 for Granada will be on January 3 on the court of Alicante. The first half of the season concludes on January 17 at home against Ourense, while the second half begins on January 29, also at home, against Albacete.
The penultimate round of the regular season will see Palencia visit the Palacio, before the final closure on the court of Ourense. The promotion playoffs will take place from May 13 to 28, with the Final Four scheduled for June 5 and 6.
Regarding the Copa de España, the round of 32 will be played on October 20 and 21, the round of 16 on November 17 and 18, and the quarterfinals on December 15 and 16. The Copa Final Four is yet to be confirmed, set for January 22-23 or 23-24.
