Goalkeeper David Gil, originally from La Palma del Condado, joins Yeclano Deportivo for the upcoming season. The Murcian club was looking to strengthen its squad after the departure of Kike Bartual for personal reasons.
Gil, who no longer has a U-23 license, joins a competitive team in the third group of Segunda Federación. The goalkeeper will aim to secure the starting position at the La Constitución stadium, where he previously played last season with Recreativo de Huelva.
During his time at Recreativo, David Gil had opportunities to showcase his talent, keeping clean sheets on several occasions. However, a meniscus injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season.
