A representative from the Popular Party of Cádiz has highlighted the «useful policy» of the Juanma Moreno Government, citing as an example the resolution for agricultural plot owners in Rota, who will finally be able to sign the regularization deeds for their lands after 40 years of waiting.
During their participation in the San Isidro Labrador Pilgrimage in Rota, the representative congratulated the Brotherhood on its 84 years of history, emphasizing the pilgrimage as a symbol of local identity, tradition, and respect for the environment. They also took the opportunity to reaffirm the commitment of the Junta de Andalucía to the municipality, mentioning an investment exceeding 36 million euros during this legislative term, allocated to projects such as the tender for a new health center and the duplication of a key road.
“"We are the Government of good news, which keeps its word and solves the real problems of citizens, as has been done in the regularization of agricultural plot ownership, which is an example of this."
The regularization of these plots dates back to regulations from 1939 and 1949, which established the creation of rural settlements and land divisions in Andalusia. However, discrepancies in measurements, resource limitations, and urban planning requirements had paralyzed the allocation of property to its rightful owners for decades. The representative congratulated the farmers for their patience and praised the work of the Ministry of Agriculture, which implemented a three-year work plan to enable beneficiaries to prove their ownership through public deeds.
Furthermore, the commitment of the Juanma Moreno Government to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and self-employed individuals was emphasized, through a 50 million euro aid package. These subsidies are intended to maintain activity and employment after the damages caused by recent storms, with specific lines for workers, self-employed individuals, agricultural sector SMEs, and affected municipalities.
