Following the registration of the Equality Plan for the town hall's workers in the REGCON last March, the Manilva council has begun developing the Municipal Equality Plan. This initiative is supported by the Provincial Council of Malaga, as part of the gender equality grants for 2026.
After conducting a diagnosis of the municipality's current situation, specific measures will be implemented. The primary goal is to ensure equal treatment and opportunities between men and women, and to eradicate any form of sex-based discrimination in the workplace.
Citizen participation is considered a fundamental pillar in this process. The active collaboration of associations, social entities, and various representative groups from the municipality will be sought to enrich the plan.
