During the meeting, key issues for the advancement of future projects in the municipality were discussed, and the various investments made by the Junta de Andalucía in recent months were evaluated.
Among the highlighted actions is the repair of 7 rural roads affected by storms in early February, a project with a budget of approximately 700,000 euros that is nearing completion. Additionally, cleaning and conditioning work is being carried out on the streams within the municipal area, for which an increase in the initial budget of 3.4 million euros, originally approved for Cuevas del Becerro, Serrato, and Cañete la Real, is being considered.
The adaptation of the exterior area of the municipal classroom building, the ongoing development of two Employment and Training Programs in the town, and the initiatives Activa-T Joven and Emplea-T, aimed at promoting the employment of the unemployed, were also addressed.
Further emphasis was placed on the restoration of the historic Convento de San Francisco de Cañete la Real, the relocation of the health center, and improvements at the CEIP Nuestra Señora de Caños Santos.
The Cañete la Real City Council emphasized the fundamental importance of collaboration between administrations for small municipalities to execute actions and investments that enable their continued progress.
