The coach, who joined the Estepona club mid-season after the previous coach's dismissal, has been instrumental in the team's stay in Spanish basketball's elite. His management has allowed the team, with one regular league match remaining, to aspire to compete in the promotion play-offs and secure a spot in European competitions next season.
“"The objective set by the club has been met, with the squad performing at its best during the last two-thirds of the competition."
With this renewal, the coach will lead the 2026/27 season from the outset, enabling him to tailor the team's composition to his playing style. Since his arrival, he has achieved 12 victories in 20 matches, a record only surpassed by teams participating in the EuroLeague, as well as Hozono Global Jairis and Innova-TSN Leganés during the same period.
Ingeniería Ambiental CAB Estepona is thus beginning to shape its project for what will be its second season in national women's top-tier basketball. The goal is to continue solidifying its position in the LF Endesa, a league where the club, last season, placed the province on the map for the first time and brought Andalucía back to the elite after a decade-long absence.
