The fair, presented by mayor Margarita del Cid, will offer a wide range of leisure and music activities for all audiences, both day and night. The official poster, created by artist Lorenzo Saval, director of Litoral magazine, pays tribute to the Generation of '27 and the identity of Torremolinos, blending elements like the Playamar Towers and Pimentel Tower with the blue of the Mediterranean.
The Gómez Quesada family, known as ‘Los Pollones’, will deliver the opening speech on Friday, September 25th, marking the start of the festivities. The program also includes the XXXI ‘Amigos de los clásicos de Torremolinos’ Gathering on Saturday, September 19th, a late-afternoon event with live pop-rock performances, and the inauguration of the Senior Citizens' Caseta on Thursday, September 24th.
The pilgrimage in honor of San Miguel will take place on Sunday, September 20th, starting from the San Miguel Hermitage and touring emblematic points of the municipality. During the pilgrimage, the traditional cart and tractor contest will be held, along with performances by Ulises Serrano, Carlos Bravo, and Los del Río.
The fair nights will feature concerts at the Municipal Auditorium Príncipe de Asturias, with Falete on Friday, September 25th, Los Aslándticos on Saturday, Pepe y Vizio on Sunday the 27th, and folklore performances on Monday the 28th. El Kanka will close the event with a concert at the Plaza Pablo Ruiz Picasso on Tuesday, September 29th.
The fair emphasizes its commitment to inclusion and accessibility, with measures such as sign language interpreters, music-free zones in the amusement area, identification bracelets, hearing protectors, a sensory path, and reserved spaces in the auditorium for individuals with functional diversity. Purple and rainbow points will also be available.
The security deployment will include 95 local police officers, with additional support from the Málaga Local Police. Security will be reinforced during the San Miguel procession and the pilgrimage.
Lorenzo Saval, an editor, visual artist, and writer, highlighted his connection to Torremolinos, where he lived and where the magazine Litoral is based. His visual work, particularly collage, has been exhibited in galleries and museums, and he directed the Generation of '27 Cultural Center.
