The event, organized by the Andalusian Basketball Federation, Club Baloncesto Salliver, and the City Council of Fuengirola, aims to promote women's basketball and attract high-level competitions. Sports Councilor Julio Rodríguez highlighted the importance of these events for the city, stating that "Fuengirola is a city that breathes basketball."
The main event of the morning will be the Provincial Diputación Super Cup, starting at 10:30 AM, featuring a match between CB Salliver and Club Amigos del Baloncesto de Estepona (CAB Estepona), both National League teams.

As the highlight, at 1:00 PM, a top-tier friendly match will take place between Impulso 360 Estepona and Hozono Global Jairis from Alcantarilla (Murcia), both competing in the women's Liga Endesa.
Players María García (CB Salliver) and Marta Ortega (CAB Estepona) thanked the Fuengirola City Council for the opportunity to showcase women's basketball. García encouraged fans to attend, while Ortega expressed her excitement about "returning to my homeland" and playing at the Juanito pavilion.
This cup complements other basketball initiatives in the city, such as the 3x3 tournament planned for Plaza Pedro Cuevas, which has over 40 registered teams.
