Controversy has arisen in Córdoba following the appearance of a series of posters questioning the configuration of the electoral list for the Parliament of Andalusia. These messages, which have caused considerable stir, criticize the former mayor's absence from the candidacy and attack the current lead candidate.
The former mayor, whose black and white image appears on the posters with the slogan 'Sin Ambrosio no vamos' (Without Ambrosio we don't go), has completely disassociated herself from this action. She has announced that she has filed a formal complaint with the Local Electoral Board to request the removal of the propaganda and clarify her lack of involvement in the events.
“"These events constitute an organized act of negative propaganda carried out opaquely and anonymously during the electoral period."
According to the written complaint submitted to the electoral administration, the posters lack any identification regarding their authorship, funding, or promotion, which violates the principles of transparency and objectivity that should govern democratic processes. The posters, which also include criticisms of the candidate for the presidency of the Junta de Andalucía, were widely distributed in central areas of Córdoba such as Colón, San Andrés, San Pablo, and García Lovera Street.
The complaint emphasizes that the use of the former mayor's image seeks to erode public figures linked to Cordovan socialism and demobilize the progressive electorate. The preservation of video surveillance recordings from the affected areas has been requested to identify those responsible for this anonymous campaign.
