Both centers successfully passed a rigorous evaluation and audit process, culminating in on-site visits in April 2026. This achievement is a requirement established by Royal Decree 640/2021 for obtaining Institutional Accreditation, which grants autonomy in the management and renewal of official degrees.
The SAIC certification recognizes the efficiency in managing the quality of university education provided. With these two new additions, the UPO now has all its undergraduate study centers with this distinction, in addition to the certification from ANECA's AUDIT program.
This milestone positions the Pablo de Olavide University, located in Seville, as the first institution nationwide to have two SAIC implementation certifications for all its undergraduate study centers, reaffirming its commitment to continuous improvement and academic excellence.
