The Triana neighborhood now knows the residents who will embody the Three Kings and the Royal Herald for the 2027 Parade. Restaurateur Francisco Manuel López Rodríguez will be King Melchor, dentist Ana Contreras López will portray King Baltasar, and banking professional and brotherhood member Salvador Perales Leiva will serve as the Royal Herald.
López Rodríguez owns Cervecería Freiduría Alboreá and Restaurante Taberna de Triana, and is also a board member for Triana at the Seville Restaurateurs Association. Dr. Contreras López heads the Contreras Dental Clinic located in the neighborhood.
The Royal Herald, responsible for collecting children's letters on January 2nd, Perales Leiva, has strong ties to the neighborhood's religious brotherhood life, being a member of El Cachorro, Rocío de Triana, and Esperanza de Triana, and also serves as a 'capataz' (foreman).
The selection of King Gaspar remains open to residents registered in the district, who can apply until October 15th. A public draw will be held on Friday, October 16th, at the Triana District Headquarters.
The participation calendar for the Parade includes registration for children on the floats throughout October and for 'beduinos' (attendants) from November 2nd to 27th. The Herald's procession will take place on January 2nd, and the main Parade will depart on the afternoon of January 6th, 2027.
