The institutional event was attended by representatives from the Department of Educational Development and Vocational Training and the University of Almería. During the ceremony, the effort and resilience of the students who excelled in their academic results during the 2025-2026 school year were highlighted.
The awards, which are held annually, aim to reward students who achieved an average grade of 8.75 or higher in their Baccalaureate studies. In addition to public recognition, winners receive a 500-euro grant and an exemption from tuition fees for their first year of university studies.
Institutional representatives encouraged the students to continue their educational journey, emphasizing the importance of maintaining excellence in the new university stage they are now beginning. The role of families and educational centers in the students' academic success was also acknowledged.
