The town of Los Barrios is undertaking a significant improvement in the infrastructure of the Palmones football field. The main intervention involves the installation of a completely independent electricity supply network for this sports facility, with an investment amounting to 37,918 euros.
Until now, the football field shared its electrical connection with other adjacent municipal buildings, which led to limitations in the stadium's energy capacity. This situation hindered the simultaneous operation of essential equipment and systems for sports practice and the maintenance of the complex.
The current works include the design and execution of a new connection installation and an internal low-voltage installation. This modernization will efficiently and safely power the pumping station for turf irrigation, as well as the rest of the electrical panels in the facility, ensuring that the complex can meet all its energy demands without restrictions.
“"This work is a necessary response to a historical limitation of the Palmones field."
By creating this dedicated supply, the City Council not only aims to improve the operational efficiency of the facility but also to prepare the equipment for future expansions or service upgrades, thereby guaranteeing the long-term functionality of the football field.
