Emergency services were alerted to the incident minutes before 5:00 AM, reporting a fire on the third floor of a residential building. A response team was immediately activated, including Firefighters, the National and Local Police, and the 061 Health Emergency Center.
Medical personnel attended to three people affected by smoke inhalation at the scene, including a minor. However, only the 21-year-old man required transfer to Punta de Europa Hospital for specialized medical care.
The Firefighters deployed two trucks and an aerial ladder to control and extinguish the blaze, the cause of which has not been specified. The other two affected individuals did not require hospitalization after the initial assessment.
