The socialist leader criticized the "double standards" and "hypocrisy" of the popular leadership, suggesting that the decision to dismiss Landaluce as a candidate in 2027 seems to confirm previous allegations of harassment and inappropriate behavior, championed by PSOE officials from Algeciras, Rocío Arrabal and Isabel Beneroso.
Ruiz Boix reproached the President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno Bonilla, for his "opportunistic" attitude, implying that he used Landaluce's "electoral asset" during the Andalusian campaign only to later "dismiss him and abandon him".
The leader of the PSOE in Cádiz emphasized that the Andalusian PP leadership, and possibly the Senate leadership, "possess internal information and files" regarding alleged harassment situations unknown to the public. He argued that, unlike other comments they chose not to make public to avoid denials, Moreno Bonilla now seems to believe the accusations about the Algeciras mayor's "unexemplary conduct".
Given the "instability and lack of ethics," Ruiz Boix posed a direct question to the president of the PP of Cádiz, Bruno García, and to Moreno Bonilla: "What are the 15 councilors of the Popular Party going to do? Are they going to continue whitewashing, backing, and supporting the current mayor?".
Finally, the PSOE urged the Popular Party to act with "institutional responsibility" and to stop "covering up this situation," by promoting and supporting the motion of no confidence that the Socialist Party has been demanding for months, so that "once and for all, there may be exemplary leadership with a new mayor for the city".
