The course, which will take place over a single intensive day combining theoretical and practical content, will be taught by specialized professionals. Participants will acquire knowledge on the handling and use of forklifts and other aspects related to machinery operation, potentially obtaining the corresponding accreditation and operator's license.
This training initiative is part of the Innova Campo de Gibraltar 2026 program, funded by the Diputación Provincial de Cádiz and executed by the comarcal institution. It focuses on practical, employment-oriented training to enhance professional skills and promote job placement.
María Teresa García León, Vice President of Employment and Training for the Mancomunidad, encouraged citizens to participate, stating that the courses are designed to equip participants with skills in demand in sectors with high employability, thus meeting the real needs of the region's productive fabric.
