The 2026 Velada y Fiestas in La Línea de la Concepción was analyzed in a technical working meeting. Council members and staff from Infrastructure, Local Police, Urban Maintenance, and Tax Management gathered to examine the event's organization and logistics from each municipal department's perspective.
The Citizen Security delegation highlighted the absence of significant incidents during the festivities, describing normality as the general trend. Concurrently, the municipal assessment deemed the relocation of street vendors to the extension of Avenida del Ejército a success in terms of attendance and sales. This change in location occurred after the perimeter closure of Parque Princesa Sofía, where these businesses were usually set up.
In addition to evaluating the current edition, municipal departments have begun planning improvements for the next one. Among the measures being considered to enhance organization is the drafting of a specific regulatory ordinance for the fair. This regulatory framework aims to systematize the management and services provided by the City Council during the celebration.
