The inaugural event, promoted by Winable, will bring together eight wine and cocktail offerings, four tapas, and four musical performances across four renowned wineries: Cayetano del Pino, Lustau, Tío Pepe, and Fundador. The two simultaneous itineraries will provide the same experience, differing only in the order and timing of winery visits.
Itinerary 1, now fully booked, begins at 8:00 PM at Lustau, followed by Cayetano del Pino (9:30 PM), Fundador (11:00 PM), and Tío Pepe (12:30 AM). Itinerary 2, with tickets still on sale, starts at 8:00 PM at Cayetano del Pino, proceeding to Lustau (9:30 PM), Tío Pepe (11:00 PM), and Fundador (12:30 AM).
Upon arrival at their first winery, each participant will receive a glass, a lanyard, a wristband, and the necessary tickets for all included tastings and tapas.
At Bodegas Cayetano del Pino, attendees will enjoy an Amontillado and a Cream, paired with a brioche featuring Cádiz pork crackling. The musical performance will feature a flamenco ensemble with Alberto Franco on guitar, Fran Lavi on vocals, and Carmen Moncada on dance.
Bodegas Lustau will present its Oloroso Emperatriz Eugenia and Fino en Rama de Jerez, accompanied by a cured loin toast prepared by chef Eva Millán. The musical act will be by José Carlos Escobar, a singer-songwriter blending pop, flamenco roots, and Latin American sounds.
Bodegas Tío Pepe (González Byass) will offer Fino Tío Pepe and Croft Twist, paired with a prawn rice dish. Jerez native Juan Cid will perform, combining flamenco-pop and contemporary Andalusian music.
Lastly, Bodegas Fundador, dating back to the 18th century, will serve Harveys Bristol Cream and Magas por Fundador, a Brandy de Jerez cocktail, with caramelized pork cheek bao buns. The performance will be by David Frontado, a singer-songwriter.
Sherryfest will take place on Friday, August 21st, from 8:00 PM to approximately 1:30 AM. Tickets for itinerary 2 are priced at 70 euros and are available at www.winable.es/sherryfest.
The initiative is supported by the Junta de Andalucía, the Jerez City Council, and the Cádiz Provincial Council, with collaboration from the Regulatory Council of Jerez Wines.
