The drama, supported by Mediaset, stands out for incorporating landscapes from municipalities such as Conil, Zahara de los Atunes, and Jerez. This connection to the Cádiz geography was solidified during the 2025 edition of the South Series Festival, held at the Gran Teatro Falla, where the first episode received the Audience Award.
The plot, created by Aurora Guerra and produced in collaboration with Plano a Plano, is based on a story by the writer Manuel Rivas. The narrative explores a love triangle marked by the internal struggle of a priest who finds himself attracted to his cousin's wife after moving to the fictional town of La Isleta.
Although the production has remained off the television schedule for nearly two years, the promotional campaign has already begun. The lead actors have frequently expressed their fondness for the corners of the Cádiz coast, which will now take center stage on television.
