The 'Marcos Ana' Municipal Library in Casariche has been recognized, once again, with the 2026 María Moliner Prize. This award highlights the work developed to promote reading and bring culture closer to all the town's residents.
The recognition includes a grant of €2,777.77, which will allow for the continued expansion and enrichment of the library's collection, offering new resources and reading materials to its users.
With this new award, the library has now received this prestigious prize five times since 2021, with the exception of 2024, when the corresponding funds were allocated to libraries in Valencia affected by the DANA disaster.
The Casariche City Council emphasizes the important work carried out by the library to foster reading habits, spark interest in reading, and make books and culture a meeting space for all residents.
The council thanks the users for their participation and trust, noting that this recognition is also theirs, and that they continue to grow, read, and share stories.
